Scottish Kilted Skirt Measuring Guide

Measuring yourself for one of our traditional Scottish kilts is much easier than you think. The secret is to make sure that you aer relaxed, standing straight and looking straight ahead and not looking down at the tape. Try to make sure that you are not sucking your stomach in or holding your braeth. What's the point of paying for a made to measure garment which you need to wear a corset with !!!!

Just follow the guide below and you will be able to complete your purchase.

Natural Waist:

  • Measure the waist over the navel
  • Do not hold the tape too tight

Top Hip/Tummy:

  • Measure loosely around the top of the hip/tummy.

Hip:

  • Measure loosely around the largest part of the bottom.

Length:

  • Measure the length required.

 

Measurements can be taken in inches or in centimetres.
